Edward Curtis took beautiful pictures, but the expectation of Natives being all somber and wise can suck my assured dick. Anyway, this makes me think that I need to learn how to bead….quite desperately.

Last weekend while in Canmore, I came across an Edward S. Curtis book at a used book store. I knew it needed to be in my collection. Less than a week later, and I am at my first pow wow, inspired by the sociological documentation by Curtis.
